Save Time Raking Leaves
Autumn leaves should be one of the seven wonders of the world. The beautiful colors are certainly a sight to behold. Equally, when the leaves fall, that’s a sight to behold as well…
Fall cleanup is in full swing once all the leaves are off the trees. Here are some tips to make your job of leaf-raking go as smooth as possible.
- wait for the leaves to finish falling. This goes without saying, but it’s simply easier to just wait for them all to finish falling, rather than creating more work for yourself
- raking leaves are a pretty dusty and dirty job. Dress the part with long sleeves, pants and heavy-duty gloves
- take advantage of the wind direction, and rake in the direction the wind is blowing. This way the wind can help you move along
- use a tarp to save time. Rake all your leaves onto a large tarp, then tie the corners together and transport the bag to your community collection center.
